Clark Louis Ruffner (1903-1982) was a career Army officer whose service included numerous distinctions and decorations. He was born in Buffalo, New York and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Virginia Military Institute in 1924. He received his commission that year as an officer in the U.S. Army Cavalry. During his career, he taught military science and tactics at Norwich University as an Assistant Professor. He attended the Command and General Staff School in 1941. His wartime ser...
